Summary:
Lack of erosion control practices has resulted in large amounts of sediment being deposited in the Green River. Specifically, the discharge was from soil erosion from a residential area (California Drive) caused by storm water run off from a storm water outfall owned and operated by the City of Green River Public Serv. Dept. Sediment deposits carried into the Green River formed a delta estimated to be approximately 50 feet across.
