PUBLIC HEARINGS
Hazardous Waste Rules, Chapter 1, General Provisions Docket 21-5103 The Solid and Hazardous Waste Division (SHWD) is proposing to adopt new EPA Hazardous Waste Rules and Regulations (HWRR). SHWD staff has considered the federal rules' applicability, and then revised the Wyoming Chapter 1, General Provisions of the HWRR using Incorporation by Reference (IBR). Due to a defect in Docket #21-5102 public notice process, DEQ has redoing the rulemaking in Docket #21-5103 on the proposed revisions to Chapter 1. The hearing will allow for a correction in the public notice process which occurred before the last EQC hearing.
Air Quality Rule Docket 21-2101 The Air Quality Division is bringing forth a proposed rulemaking that will involve revising WAQSR Chapter 6, Permitting Requirements, Section 2(o)(iii), Permit requirements for construction, modification, and operation. Section 2(o)(iii), Portable Relocate Fees, is being updated to include revisions to portable relocate fee assessments that were established under Wyo. Stat. ยง 35-11-211(j) after passage of HB0049 during the 2021 legislative session.
