Land Quality Rule Packages
LQD Coal Chapter 2
Proposed revisions to LQD Coal Rules Chapter 2, Permit Application Requirements for Surface Coal Mining Operations including provisions to allow for the disposal of decommissioned wind turbine blades and towers on coal mining operations, grammatical corrections and revisions to conform to the Secretary of State Rules on Rules.
LQD Non Coal Chapter 5
The proposed revisions to LQD Noncoal Chapter 5, Exploration by Dozing, include creating a new Section 1 of the rules to allow for limited exploration activities of three acres or less, allow for the sale of minerals recovered during exploration, and limiting renewals of exploration operations to two successive renewals.
LQD Non Coal Chapter 10
The proposed revisions to Noncoal Chapter 10,, Limited Mining Operations for Fifteen Acres of Less of Affected Land, include revising the rules to streamline administrative procedures, removing the requirement to begin reclamation within thirty days of abandonment, and replacing that requirement with a five-year renewal period for Limited Mining Operations.
Motions for Summary Judgment
Citation Oil and Gas Corp. appealed the decision of the Department concerning 7 air quality permits in the Dallas Dome Tank Battery in Fremont County Wyoming
Items that are not on the agenda which only involve administrative issues governing the operations of the Council.
