Summary:
The steel tanks and piping at J J's General Store are all constructed of steel that is protected against corrosion using an impressed current system. Impressed current systems must be maintained in operating condition for as long as the tanks and lines exist. Impressed current system are required to be checked by the operator of the station every sixty (60) days under Chapter 17, Section 11 ©. These systems are also required to be inspected by a cathodic protection tester once every three years. The required tests and inspection have not yet been done.
