Summary: Tanks were removed from the ground on May 21, 1991. The site was found to be contaminated with petroleum hydrocarbons from the removed storage tanks. The site was purchased by Maurice VanIeperen in 2001. The Contaminated Site Fees are now in arrears by One Thousand Four Hundred Dollars. ($1,400.00). After several invoices were sent by regular mail, Maurice VanIeperen was invoiced for $1,400.00 by Certified Mail on November 1, 2005. A letter was sent with the invoice explaining that the Contaiminated Site Fees had to be paid or the department would ask the attorney general to recover costs of corrective action performed by the State of Wyoming.
